Chicken Coop for 100 Chickens DIY

Materials
- 2x4 lumber

Instructions
- Choose a level spot to build the coop.
- Measure and mark out the dimensions of the coop on the ground.
- Use 2x4 lumber to build the frame of the coop. Cut the pieces to size and attach them together with screws and wood glue.
- Cover the frame with plywood and secure it with nails.
- Add a roof using metal roofing material. Make sure it overhangs the walls to protect the coop from rain.
- Install chicken wire around the perimeter of the coop to keep predators out. Use hardware cloth on the bottom of the coop to prevent digging predators from entering.
- Add a door to the coop, and attach hinges and a latch.
- Divide the interior of the coop into sections using 2x4 lumber and chicken wire. Each section should have a roosting area and nesting boxes.
- Add bedding to the roosting and nesting areas.
- If desired, paint or stain the coop to protect it from the elements.
